Neighbourhood Plan gets green light from examiner

Following the recent consultation the independent examiner has now reviewed all the comments and the plan documents and has concluded the plan can, with minor amendments, proceed to local referendum. In his report, published below, he acknowledges the plan meets all the legal requirements, is supported by sufficient evidence and contains elements of good practice. He confirms the policies seek “to shape and direct sustainable development to ensure that local people get the right type of development for their community” and that they “provide a distinct local approach”.
